England Women's U19s face Germany, Spain and Norway in the Euro finals

England have been drawn alongside Germany, Spain and Norway for the finals of this summer’s UEFA Women’s U19s Championship.

The Young Lions’ qualifying campaign hit the headlines with a re-taken Leah Williamson penalty, against Norway, last month.

That converted spot-kick, alongside victories over Northern Ireland and Switzerland, ensured Mo Marley’s side made it to the eight-team finals which will be staged in Israel between 15-27 July.

Euro schedule

15 July: England v Germany
18 July: England v Spain
21 July: England v Norway

Group A comprises Sweden, France, Denmark and the host nation.

England open up against Germany on Wednesday 15 July. Then it's Spain on 18 July, followed by Norway on 21 July.

The four Euro semi-finalists will qualify for next year’s FIFA Women’s U20s World Cup which is being hosted by Papua New Guinea.

England won the U19s Euros in 2009 with a squad that included Lucy Bronze, Jordan Nobbs, Jade Moore and Toni Duggan – who are all part of Mark Sampson’s senior squad for next month’s World Cup in Canada.

England were Euro runners-up in 2007, 2010 and 2013.
