Mettam warned over conduct
Tamworth FC player Leon Mettam has been warned as to his future conduct, suspended for two games at the start of the 2015/2016 season, fined £500 and ordered to attend a mandatory education course after he was found guilty of misconduct.
It relates to comments posted on Mr Mettam's Twitter account, which it is alleged were abusive and/or insulting and/or improper, contrary to FA Rule E3(1). It is further alleged that this breach of Rule E3(1) is an “Aggravated Breach” as defined in Rule E3(2), as it includes a reference to disability.
