Natasha Flint put the Young Lionesses ahead early on but Jorge Vilda's side, last year’s runners-up, came roaring back in the second half with goals from Pilar Garrote, Alba Redondo and Rocío Gálvez.

England are bottom of Group B with just one match left – against Norway next Tuesday.

Redondo netted a second on 81 and Gálvez bagged a late winner to leave England, winners of this competition in 2009, with an uphill battle to qualify for the semi-finals.
