Harry Kane celebrates after scoring against Norwich City

Striker Harry Kane’s superb run of form continued as he struck another two goals in Tottenham’s 3-0 win over Norwich.

The 22-year-old hitman is up to 15 goals in all competitions already this term, and his latest double helped Spurs to a comfortable home victory, with Tom Carroll adding a third goal late on.

Kyle Walker, Eric Dier and Dele Alli also lined up for Spurs, who stay fourth in the table after back-to-back Premier League victories.

Winger Raheem Sterling opened the scoring for Manchester City as they notched a 4-1 victory over Sunderland.

The 21-year-old headed home from close range after just 12 minutes and the floodgates opened for City, who added three more goals through Yaya Toure, Wilfried Bony and Kevin de Bruyne.

Jack Butland kept Manchester United at bay as his Stoke side recorded another shock victory over one of the Premier League’s heavyweights.

After dismantling champions Chelsea and Manchester City already this season, Bojan Krkic and Marko Arnautovic fired Stoke to a 2-0 lead at half-time against the Red Devils, who had Ashley Young, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling in defence as well as Michael Carrick in midfield.

And despite England skipper Wayne Rooney coming off the bench after the interval, Three Lions keeper Butland reacted brilliantly to deny Marouane Fellaini on the hour and his clean sheet handed his side all three points.

Both Carl Jenkinson and England youth international Reece Oxford came off the bench for West Ham but could not help their side past Aston Villa with the final score 1-1.

England internationals Jordan Henderson, Nathaniel Clyne, and Adam Lallana were all heavily involved as Liverpool beat Jamie Vardy’s Leicester 1-0, with the Foxes’ striker unable to trouble the scorers and replaced after 69 minutes.

Jonjo Shelvey came on as a late substitute for Swansea to continue his comeback from injury, as his side secured a 1-0 triumph at home to West Brom, with Rickie Lambert’s header the closest the visitors came to scoring.

Ryan Bertrand helped secure Southampton a clean sheet in their 4-0 defeat of Arsenal that denied the Gunners the chance to return to the top of the Premier League table.

Under-20s stars Moses Odubajo and Isaac Hayden were involved as Hull City romped to a 3-0 victory over Burnley, while Under-18s man Ainsley Maitland-Niles got an hour of action in Ipswich’s 2-1 victory against QPR.
