Concord Rangers stole the headlines as they held League Two side Mansfield to a 1-1 draw and will now fancy their chances of reaching The FA Cup Second Round when the replay takes place at Thames Road.

The Conference South club had a night to remember and made it a memorable evening for the 101 fans who made the trip.

Jordan Chiedozie was the hero for the non-League side as he scored a spectacular 30-yard strike which flew into the top corner.

Winning clubs will receive £18,000

Chiedozie is the son of former Tottenham winger John and he made a name for himself just 51 seconds after Danny Glozier headed the ball past his own keeper to put Mansfield into the lead on 17 minutes.

The Stags could have won the game right at the end but Concord keeper Josh Vickers made a superb save to deny a free-kick from Chris Clements.

Conference Premier side Southport also had a night to remember as they booked their place in the Second Round with a comfortable 2-0 win over League Two strugglers Dagenham & Redbridge.

Dagenham were reduced to 10 men just before half-time when Luke Howell was shown a red card for raising his arms and Southport made them pay.

John Marsden opened the scoring on 50 minutes and Danny Hattersley's penalty on 58 minutes helped them set up an all Conference affair in the next round when they face Eastleigh on 7 December.

AFC Telford were the other non-side League side to book their place in the next round after they beat Basingstoke Town 2-1.

Andy Parry and Tony Gray made it a dream start for the home side with two goals in the opening 33 minutes and even though Louie Soares pulled a goal back, Telford held on and manager Liam Watson said it was made even more special as he could only name five substitutes due to injury.

Watson said: "We couldn't do anything about the injuries, we just had to go along and field the team we did.

"We're a part time club in a full-time league, and we've already shown character in games this season."

Marcus Carver was the hero for Accrington Stanley as he scored a second-half winner to help them come from behind and help them beat League One promotion hopefuls Notts County 2-1.

League Two side Shrewsbury almost caused one of the biggest upsets of the season against Chelsea in the Capital One Cup and they now seem to be doing the same in The FA Cup after Liam Lawrence's winning goal helped them knock out League One side Walsall.

Doncaster Rovers were the biggest winners of the night as they recorded a 4-1 away win over Conference South side Weston Super Mare.

Curtis Main, Theo Robinson, James Coppinger and Richie Wellens scored the goals to help set up a second round tie against Oldham.

There were also victories for AFC Wimbledon, Rochdale and Sheffield United.
