Bryon Harrison scored a hat-trick as Cheltenham Town sealed their place in The FA Cup Second Round with an emphatic victory over Swindon Town, writes Nick Trott

The League Two side put five goals past their west country rivals with Terry Gornell and Matt Richards adding to Harrison's treble, meaning a fifth defeat in a row for Swindon against Cheltenham, who sit 13th in the fourth tier of the Football League.

A lively Whaddon Road crowd saw Swindon take control from kick-off, with the majority of chances going to the away side.

But it was the League Two side who went ahead, when goalkeeper Trevor Carson hit the ball deep into the opposing half. Harrison took advantage of a poor header from Nathan Thompson and finished from six yards.

Swindon captain Louis Thompson was sent off after 20 minutes for dragging down Gornell.

With 10 minutes left of the first half Gornell made it 2-0, finish in the bottom corner after reacting quickest to a loose ball in the goalmouth.

Wing-back Braham-Barrett's attacking verve saw him play a pinpoint ball across the six-yard box to Harrison's feet. He was rewarded for his run with his second goal and Cheltenham's third.

Richards scored the fourth following a scramble in the away side's box which was cleared only as far as the midfielder, who rifled his volley into the bottom corner.

Harrison claimed the match ball and ensured the Robins would be in Monday's Second Round draw with just five minutes remaining, profiting from a poor back-pass and sliding home under Wes Foderingham.
