Atherton Collieries stole the headlines in the First Round Proper as they cruised to an emphatic 8-0 away win over Daisy Hill.

Mark Battersby and Ben Hardcastle netted braces while Kristian Holt, Bradley Cooke, Matt Boland and Jordan Cover also got among the goals.

Greenwich Borough were not far behind as they also recorded an impressive 7-1 victory over Hailsham Town.

Scott Kinch score two while Chris Edwards struck from the penalty spot. Gary Alexander, Lewis Wood, Jack Mahon and Danny Young also hit the target in a memorable victory.

Dunkirk also scored seven as they beat Graham Street Prims 7-2.

Dexter Atkinson stole the show as he bagged a hat-trick to make it five in his past two games.

Brocton beat Rochester 6-3 to make it through to the next round, while eight goals were scored between Bradford Town and Malmesbury Town with the home side coming away with a 5-3 victory.

Daniel Slatter scored the winning penalty for Stanway Rovers in a dramatic 6-5 shoot-out win over Hertford Town after the game had finished 1-1 after extra-time.

There were also big victories for Bootle, Marske United, Whitley Bay, Pegasus Junior and Cleethorpes Town.
