The England Under-21s squad prepare for training at St. George's Park on Friday

England Under-21s continued their preparations for Monday's Euro qualifier against Wales with some shooting practice at St. George's Park on Friday morning.

Gareth Southgate named his squad earlier this week and the group met up at the national football centre In Burton on Thursday to begin their work for the season's final qualifier, which takes place at Swansea City's Liberty Stadium.

And the players were given the chance to hone their eye for goal with some finishing exercises, but only after goalkeepers Jack Butland and Jonathan Bond had been put through their paces separately by coaches Martin Thomas and Tim Dittmer.

The likes of Harry Kane, Danny Ings, Jesse Lingard and Saido Berahino all showed their prowess in front of goal, but it was left to boss Southgate to steal the show as he rolled back the years to crash home a header towards the end of the session.
