So sit back and enjoy Monday’s World Cup Wrap.

Sulley Money-tari

Perhaps the most heartwarming moment of the World Cup occurred last week – and it came miles away from the pitch.

Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari reportedly received special permission from his national team boss Kwesi Appiah to visit the people of Maceio, one of the poorest communities in the whole country.

While he was there he signed autographs and posed for photographs with the children, before handing out cash to the disadvantaged locals.

I’ve got the golden ticket

On the subject of giving, this seems to be the World Cup that just keeps on giving.

And as the tournament rolls on, the kind acts show no signs of stopping as it emerged travelling supporters are buying extra tickets to give to disadvantaged local youngsters.

It is reported that most of the tickets cost more than some of the locals earn in a month, however, fans have been snapping up extra seats and giving them out free of charge with a number of stories emerging on Twitter over the weekend.

CR7 drops videobomb

Prior to last night’s draw, much of the speculation had been on Cristiano Ronaldo’s fitness.

But the maestro showed pre-match that he was feeling much better after his knee problems.

This Portuguese journalist was reporting live on air in the build-up to the crunch clash, before CR7 decided to videobomb him.
