The World Cup Wrap
We are halfway through the group stage of the World Cup and a number of teams are starting to emerge as strong contenders for the crown.

France looked completely irresistible going forward as they hit five past Switzerland, as do Holland and the impressive Colombia.

Unfortunately, Costa Rica’s defeat of Italy ensured England’s exit, but fear not…We are still here to bring you the latest from Brazil with our latest World Cup Wrap.

Honduras get chewy
Honduras forward Enner Vanner was the subject of debate on Friday as he was caught on camera chewing a mysterious blue object during Friday’s clash with Ecuador.

ITV’s Lee Dixon noticed it first, causing a host of fans on Twitter to question what exactly it was.

Whatever it was, it worked as Costly fired his side ahead midway through the first-half.

Unfortunately for him, his side were unable to hold on to the lead as they went down 2-1, but the mystery still remains… Just what was he chewing?

Sleep football, drink football… EAT FOOTBALL
Germany's hat-trick hero Thomas Muller has shown he is not always as accurate as he was against Portugal when trying to hit the target.

The Bayern Munich forward was way off target at training as he accidently fired the ball past the post and straight into a table of diners.

He was apparently forced to apologise afterwards after hitting one man on the head.

He’ll be hoping to regain his accuracy ahead of the match with Ghana this afternoon.
