Injured Kelly Smith withdraws from England Women's squad

Kelly Smith has scored 46 goals in 117 caps

Kelly Smith has withdrawn from the England Women’s squad ahead of the upcoming World Cup qualifiers in Belarus and Ukraine.

Head Coach Mark Sampson has chosen not to replace the 35-year-old, who has suffered a quad strain.

Smith scored one and made the other as Arsenal defeated Everton 2-0 in The FA Women’s Cup Final at the beginning of the month.
