Dance the night away
Despite their World Cup exit at the hands of Brazil on Friday, Colombia’s return home was marked in the same awesome style as their exploits at the tournament.

The South Americans won a legion of new fans around the planet with their performances and goals on their run to the quarter finals, and the squad received a warm welcome upon arriving back in Bogota.

Star man James Rodriguez was joined by Eder Balanta and a host of others as they took it in turns to show off their dazzling dance moves in front of thousands of fans.

Check them out.

You melon head

The talisman Neymar may be ruled out with injury but Brazil may have a new hero to inspire them to glory – step forward watermelon-head man.

This fun-loving character below was spotted by the cameras during that match with Colombia and instantly became an internet sensation.

Poor Jasper
Jasper Cillessen has played a huge part in Holland’s progression to the semi-finals, but you wouldn’t know it following Tim Krul’s shoot-out heroics on Saturday.

The Ajax stopper made a crucial save to deny Costa Rica in extra-time before boss Louis van Gaal replaced him with Krul as penalties loomed – and the decision paid off as the Newcastle United keeper saved two Costa Rican spot-kicks to ensure victory for the Dutch.

The substitute was immediately mobbed by team-mates quick to congratulate him, but it appears via the clip below that they forgot all about poor Cillissen as his high-five attempts go ignored.
