Kane says he is fully fit and raring to go

The players had their first sessions with our new Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino over the weekend as preparations get underway for the big kick-off on August 16.

"I’ve had a good rest and I’m looking forward to getting back into the swing of things, getting fit and getting on that pre-season tour," said Harry, who made such an impact at the end of last season with a goal on his first start for us in the Premier League kicking-off a spell of three in three.

Kane has scored three goals for Spurs

"It will be a tough pre-season but that’s what you want, you want to get fit and be ready for the season ahead. All the lads are looking forward to that. We’ll be put through our paces and it will be good."

Harry's form earned a call into the England Under-21 squad for the European Championship qualifier against Wales and the Under-20 Tornoi Tournament in France.

Unfortunately, an ankle injury sustained just six minutes after coming on for the Under-21s in Swansea forced him out of the Under-20 tournament, but he's back and fighting fit.

"Yes, I’m fully fit," he confirmed.

"The injury was unfortunate but I had my time away, had my rest, did my rehab and I’m back fit now to training fully, so that’s perfect."
