Vote for your Player of the Third Round

Four players have been nominated for the Budweiser Player of the Round award after their performance in The FA Cup Third Round.

A panel of judges will nominate their candidates after each round (from the First Round up to and including the Semi-Final) and you can vote for your favourite right here.

The panel comprises The Sun journalist Jim Munro, commentator Mark Pougatch, FA Historian David Barber, who has attended over 425 FA Cup ties, and John Fowler. John secured his place on the panel after entering an online competition in conjunction with Budweiser.

You have until midday on Wednesday 22 January to vote for your favourite.

The person who tops the poll will receive a commemorative Budweiser Player of the Round trophy and he will also be invited to The FA Cup Final at Wembley in May as a guest of The FA and Budweiser.

The selections for the Third Round Proper are as follows:

Ryan Flynn, Sheffield United
Sheffield United secured a memorable Third Round giant-killing as they knocked out Premier League Aston Villa, with Ryan Flynn scoring the all-important winner.

Ian Henderson, Rochdale
League Two Rochdale also produced one of the shocks of the round in knocking out Championship side Leeds United. Ian Henderson was instrumental in their victory, sealing a man of the match performance with his side’s second goal, a superb volley.

Joe Lolley, Kidderminster Harriers (now Huddersfield Town)
Non-League Kidderminster Harriers booked their place in Round Four with victory over Peterborough United in Tuesday night’s replay. Joe Lolley grabbed the winning goal and has since joined Huddersfield Town.

Jamie Paterson, Nottingham Forest
Jamie Paterson netted an impressive hat-trick as Nottingham Forest routed Premier League West Ham at The City Ground.
