Paul Gascoigne celebrates his goal for Spurs against Arsenal in the 1991 FA Cup Semi-Final.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur meet in The FA Cup Third Round this weekend and it's a tie that never fails to get the mouth watering.

The north London rivals were paired together by former Spurs and England striker Teddy Sheringham and his son Charlie when they made the draw last month and the time for action is almost here.

New Spurs boss Tim Sherwood takes his team to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening for what will be his first derby in the dugout. But for Gunners chief Arsene Wenger it's the latest of many matches in charge against their local rivals.

And you can take a walk down memory lane as we look back at some of their previous encounters in The FA Cup.

The clubs met at the Semi-Final stage in 1991, a game which is remembered for Paul Gascoigne's stunning free-kick and ended in a 3-1 win at Wembley for the men from White Hart Lane.

Two years later and Arsenal had their revenge, as Gunners captain Tony Adams headed home a Wembley winner in the 1993 Semi-Final.

And Wenger was in charge in 2001 when the rivals met in the Semi-Final at Old Trafford, as goals from Patrick Vieira and Robert Pires saw Arsenal recover from Gary Doherty's opener to win 2-1.

You can now watch highlights from those ties in the video player above, in our exclusive FA Cup north London derby montage.
