Danny Ings scored a brace against Millwall

Burnley boss Sean Dyche has sung the praises of Danny Ings following the England Under-21 striker's performance against Millwall on Saturday.

Ings scored a brace as the Clarets came from behind to clinch all three points at Turf Moor.

The win has moved Burnley up to second place in the Championship table.

Dyche said: "We have got a strike force to be reckoned with but the front six, if you like, were excellent in their play.

"Ings has real quality, and the pass for the second goal as well was great.

"Ings is a player who can score all types of goals."

He continued: "We want to play mixed football which is what we are doing, we want that freedom.

"I have made it clear on several occasions that if you get the performance level right then it attracts wins.

"We are relentless in our attitude in training and as long as that relentless mentality is there as a collective then we can get the results. I believe in development for all, myself included."

The Under-21s’ next game is on Wednesday 5 March when they face Wales at Derby County’s iPro Stadium.

Tickets for the game are priced just £10 for adults and £5 for U18s. These can be purchased in person from the Digonex Ticket Office, by calling 0871 472 1884 (option 1) or by visiting WeAreDerby.com.
