Does Jodie Taylor get your vote?
After enjoying a number of prolific seasons with her club sides in Australia and America, Jodie Taylor finally made her England debut in 2014.
Initially involved in Mark Sampson’s first Three Lions squad in January, the 28-year-old had to wait until August for her international bow.
And it was a memorable one, with England deservedly beating Sweden 4-0 in a high-profile friendly.
Just over two weeks later, Taylor came off the bench to help her country beat Wales 4-0 in Cardiff – a result which sealed a place at next year’s World Cup.
She completed her year by stepping out against Germany at Wembley in front of a record women’s crowd of 45,619.
