Many of last season's U17s squad could be involved in the England U18s squad this season
England U18s get their season underway on home soil next month when Netherlands are the visitors to the north-west.

Neil Dewsnip’s squad will be in action on Friday 5 September at Bury FC’s JD Stadium, formerly known as Gigg Lane.

England U18s v Netherlands U18s

It promises to be a mouth-watering clash, with many of the players from last season’s European U17 Championship title winning squad likely to be involved.

And with the Dutch, who were defeated in the Final of that competition in Malta last May, providing the opposition there is sure to be an added edge to the game.

With no UEFA or FIFA competitions for the U18 side, the Young Lions will have a number of fixtures during the forthcoming campaign after a successful programme last time around.

After playing games against the likes of Hungary, Belgium and Croatia in games at St. George's Park, the Young Lions finished their season at Rotherham United's New York Stadium, beating Germany by 2-1 in front of a big crowd.

Tickets for the Netherlands game cost just £3 for adults and £1.50 for U16s and are available now via Bury FC on 0871 221 1885 (option 3) or by e-mailing admin@buryfc.co.uk
