And Boothroyd’s side will have home advantage in their first game of the new term on Friday 5 September, at the home of AFC Telford United.
The former Watford and Coventry City boss worked with many of the players at his disposal earlier this year when he assisted former England U19s boss Noel Blake during the Elite Qualifying Round in May.
Unfortunately, last season’s U19s group missed out on next year’s U20 World Cup in New Zealand but with a number of games set to be scheduled for the season ahead, it gives the group of players below Gareth Southgate’s Under-21 squad a chance to continue their international development.
