The Arsenal team emerge for Saturday's FA Cup Semi-Final at Wembley

Arsenal became the first team to secure their place in this season's FA Cup Final on Saturday, following their dramatic penalty shoot-out victory over Wigan Athletic.

Arsene Wenger's side had to show their character too, after slipping behind to Jordi Gomez's second-half penalty kick.

But a late header from Per Mertesacker brought the Gunners back level with their Championship opponents and when the teams couldn't be separated after extra time, it was left to penalties.
