Toni Duggan may be riding the crest of a wave after scoring a hat-trick against Montenegro on Saturday - but she is not about to take all the credit.

The Manchester City striker says she is reaping the rewards of the team ethic installed by manager Mark Sampson, who led out his side in a competitive fixture for the first time at Brighton.

"It was fantastic," she said after recording her second hat-trick in only 16 games for the Lionesses. "I'm delighted to have scored three but more important has been the way the team is performing - I'm just glad to be a part of it.

"It's a new England and it's a new era. I'm sure Mark won't let the standards drop."
