Ten-man St Albans City have advanced from the Second Round Qualifying of The FA Trophy after triumphing 4-2 on penalties following a lively 2-2 replay draw with Billericay Town.
Billericay were 1-0 up at the break, but St Albans got themselves back on level terms when captain James Comley scored in the 47th minute.
The hosts restored their advantage, but once again it was short-lived as Elliot Bailey netted to ensure the tie went to extra time.
Darren Locke was then given his marching orders as the match neared its finale, but Comley, Lee Chappell, David Keenleyside and Harrison Georgiou all held their nerve from 12 yards to send St Albans through to the next phase.
Hungerford Town also prevailed on spot-kicks following a 1-1 draw with Folkestone Invicta.
Mark Draycott opened the scoring for Hungerford before Michael Yianni responded for the visitors shortly after half time.
Extra time failed to separate the two sides, but Hungerford were clinical from the spot, winning 5-4 on penalties.
Arlesey Town, who won 3-2 at home to Poole Town, are also through to the next phase, and they will be joined by Daventry Town, who were 3-1 victors against Wingate & Finchley.
And Maidstone United's FA Trophy dream is still alive after a narrow 1-0 win at home to Wealdstone.
Meanwhile, Witton Albion will lock horns with Leek Town in the Second Round Qualifying after seeing off nine-man FC United of Manchester 2-1, following a stormy encounter at Wincham Park.
Neville Thompson put Witton in front after 17 minutes before FC United's evening took a turn for the worse when Michael Norton was sent off for an alleged headbutt just before the half-hour mark.
Things became even more difficult for the hosts shortly after the break when Lee Neville was shown a red card for a two-footed challenge, but they battled back to equalise through Tom Greaves.
Despite their numerical disadvantage, FC United went in search of a winner, but Danny Andrews re-established Witton's lead three minutes from time to send the visitors through to the next phase.
