The FA Cup Road to Wembley took TheFA.com’s Gary Stonehouse to Moss Rose, where two non-League sides put on a thrilling show of Cup football.
Our man went behind the scenes at Macclesfield Town v Brackley Town as the cash-strapped hosts got to grips with their upwardly mobile visitors with a place in the Third Round at stake.
The Silkmen stormed into a 2-0 lead but were forced to fight for their place in the Third Round as Brackley pegged them back to level with two second-half strikes.
But Jack Mackreth delivered a hammer-blow to Brackley's dreams of a replay with nine minutes remaining and sent Moss Rose into rapture.
Macclesfield will now play Sheffield Wednesday at home in The FA Cup Third Round
