The FA's National Ground Grading document

Ground Grading

The FA, through its Ground Grading Sub-Committee, the Alliance Committee (Steps 1 to 4) and Leagues Committee (Steps 5 & 6 and NLS Regional Feeder Leagues), have this year merged the previous National Ground Grading Documents covering ground grading requirements at each 'Step' of the National League System in order to assist clubs in understanding the progression of minimum facility requirements from NLS Regional Feeder League level to Step 1.

AMENDMENTS TO THE CRITERIA DOCUMENT – NOVEMBER 2022

The document has seen minimal substantive amendments from last year's criteria, but some anomalies have been rectified during the process of merging the documents.

Clubs will need to familiarise themselves with the relevant criteria as amendments are not highlighted in the document. In future seasons it is anticipated that a full list on annual amendments will be produced, along with any rationale, in order to assist clubs in identifying any amendments.
