Rachel Unitt ruled out of Sweden 2013 after rupturing her ACL against Lincoln
Rachel Unitt will miss Euro 2013 through injury.
The Birmingham left-back, who is one of only six England players to have earned over 100 caps, ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament against Lincoln Ladies on Sunday and has been ruled out for the season.
Unitt made her Three Lions debut against France in 2000 and she has featured at four major tournaments – two European Championships and two World Cups.
The 30-year-old made her 100th international appearance against Croatia in March 2012 and she scored in a comfortable 6-0 win.
England will face Spain, Russia and France in the European Championship group stage in Sweden with every match being shown live on BBC.
