Natasha Dowie made her England return on Saturday and helped seal a 6-0 win over Belarus with her first international goal.
Almost two years to the day since her last England cap, the Liverpool Ladies striker made an instant impact after being introduced by Brent Hills, with a neatly-taken goal and then cleverly setting up another for Eni Aluko.
And Dowie still felt she should have had more to show from her second-half cameo at the Goldsands Stadium.
Dowie said: "I was made up to get on the scoresheet, but I should've scored two.
"It was a great performance from the girls in what was a frustrating game with them defending a lot.
"But we broke them down and I really enjoyed it when I came on."
The former Charlton Athletic and Everton striker was a regular for England at U19 and U23 level, but has been absent from the senior squad since 2011.
But after impressing for Liverpool in the Women's Super League this season, she's back in the international fold and full of belief.
"I'm confident at the moment, as a striker, if you're scoring goals, you're confident," she added.
"I just want to come on and play football and the girls have made me very welcome this week. As you can see, I'm enjoying my football.
"We all want to move on now, it was a good 6-0 win and we now want to take that into the Turkey game on Thursday."
