England goalkeeper Jack Butland signs for Stoke, but loaned back to Birmingham
has been the subject of one of the main deals on transfer deadline day after moving from Birmingham City to Stoke City.
The England goalkeeper has signed for the Potters until 2017, but will not be in immediate action for the Premier League outfit, though. He has been loaned back to St. Andrews for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old, who was called into Roy Hodgson's squad for their meeting with Brazil, is looking forward to his future at the Britannia Stadium.
“I have come here to a great club, and I am looking forward to the challenge of playing in front of a great fan base." he said on the Stoke City website.
“The move here ticked all of the right boxes for me, so it was quite an easy decision for me to make to be honest.
“The staff are absolutely fantastic here, and I am convinced that I will continue to develop my game here.”
