There will be 31 matches in total, with the England Lionesses opening the tournament on Wednesday 7 July at Old Trafford and culminating in the final at Wembley Stadium, London on Saturday 1st August. There are some excellent ways to get involved with the tournament, one of which is volunteering.
There are many reasons to volunteer, whether it is to gain or share your experience, see the event from a different perspective, or simply enjoying the feeling of helping out and making people’s day!
We plan to use approximately 150 volunteers for each venue, with a total volunteer workforce of 1500. Volunteers enhance the matchday experience of major events, through providing a different perspective and being able to give a different feel to a normal event day.
At least 50% of our volunteer roles for UEFA Women’s EURO 2021 will be spectator services focused, which consists of assisting with the movement of crowds, helping to build the crowd atmosphere and being on hand to assist all spectators.
UEFA Women’s EURO 2021 volunteers can expect to receive a UEFA Women’s EURO 2021 uniform; food and refreshment whilst performing their volunteer role and the buzz of meeting new volunteers or reconnecting with familiar faces.
As well as that, you would get to see the excitement of the spectators and other client groups, and the reaction you will get when you welcome or assist them en-route to the venue.
Applications to be part of UEFA Women’s EURO 2021 volunteer programme will open in 2020.
