Applications for the volunteer programme have now closed. Applications closed at midnight on Friday 12th July 2019.
All applications will be reviewed before the end of January 2020, so please bear with us over the coming months.
Each application will be reviewed and approximately 2000 applicants will be invited to the volunteer interview centre at Wembley Stadium which opens on 1st August 2019 and closes on 30th November 2019.
Volunteer interview centre
Applicants who are invited to attend the volunteer interview centre will take part in a 20-25 minute interview with a volunteer scout, they’ll try on samples of the volunteer uniform and to part of a unique recruitment event.
All offers to be a UEFA EURO 2020 volunteer will be made by the end of January 2020.
There will be free travel for volunteers between London zones 1-6.
Unfortunately not, you will have to apply through the ballot for tickets like the general public. However, please note that most of our volunteers will be required to volunteer during the matches, so if you were to become a volunteer, you would not be able to watch the matches.
All volunteers will have to organise their own accommodation if required, to attend their shifts.
All volunteers will receive a UEFA EURO 2020 Adidas volunteer uniform.
To ensure volunteers have the necessary information to perform their volunteer role, we will provide both general and specific training. The training period varies for each role but volunteers are expected to attend 2-3 training sessions.
You will be provided with a volunteer uniform and accreditation pass which you will be required to wear at all times whilst performing your role. During tournament time we will also provide you with appropriate food and refreshments while volunteering and any role specific equipment you may require.
