Providing work experience for local young people at Wembley Stadium and St. George’s Park.

Training and employment are key issues in Brent and Burton and we provide various opportunities for entry into work for the young community of Brent and Burton.

We partner with The King’s Trust to deliver an Employability Programme supporting young people aged 16-30 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET). The programme begins with a Taster Day at Wembley Stadium, where participants learned about the initiative and the departments offering work experience opportunities. Following this, a selected cohort completes five days of skills‑based workshops, including CV development, interview preparation and department‑led tasks.

Participants undertake a week of structured work experience at Wembley Stadium, including the unique opportunity to work during the Emirates FA Cup Semi‑Final weekend. The programme concludes with formal interviews across participating teams for positions at the FA and our partners; last year every young person in the cohort received an offer of employment.
