The Learning Zone is also home to our weekly Dementia Memory Café, delivered in partnership with Alzheimer’s Society.

Every Wednesday afternoon, we welcome local residents living with dementia, those concerned about dementia, and their carers. The café provides a safe, supportive and social environment, with activities including singing workshops and seated exercise sessions.

FA colleagues regularly volunteer their time to support the café, chatting with guests, assisting with activities and helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Saira Mirza, our corporate social responsibility manager at the FA, said: “We’re delighted to welcome local residents of Brent to Wembley Stadium's Memory Café. The FA’s partnership with Alzheimer’s Society provides us with unique opportunities like this, to create something that can make a tangible difference to the day-to-day lives of people affected by dementia.”
