Meet our Participation and Development Administrator, Alex Cavanagh
If I am not sitting at my desk, I will be supporting events or helping on committees. A small break for table tennis at lunch too is always enjoyable!
The idea of playing a small part in hopefully helping England to win a major tournament and the good nature of my colleagues. Plus the benefits/tickets, of course!
I’d just finished university, so I guess I wasn’t really on one! I had started university with the hope of graduating and getting a job at The FA, I didn’t think it would actually happen!
Try to build a variety of skills so you can be well rounded and accommodate for all tasks given.
Friendly and easy to fit into.
There are opportunities to go on training courses; I’ve now completed three different courses, including an accredited project management course. The opportunities are there if you want to take them on, including liaising with teams and working on events.
Positive and approachable.
