England have been putting the final touches to their preparation for the quarter final with World Number One USA, as they look to reach semis for the first time.

With more time to prepare in Tianjin than the previous game with Argentina, England had a day off on Wednesday before training fully on Thursday and Friday - including a visit to the impressive Olympic Centre where they will take on Greg Ryan's side on Saturday.

Hope Powell has prepared her players thoroughly and the squad are in confident mood ahead of the clash with America, especially having drawn with the States in the China Cup in January 1-1 - with Alex Scott scoring for the Three Lions.
