England's record in Dortmund - N/A

England's route will only take them to Dortmund if they finish Group B as Runners-Up.

In that circumstance, their Semi-Final place would be in the magnificent Westfalenstadion, which would make the English supporters feel at home.

Originally built for Germany's last World Cup in 1974, England have never played there, but it hosted a remarkable UEFA Cup Final in 2001 when Liverpool clinched their 'treble' with a 5-4 win over Alaves of Spain.

In the Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund regularly play in front of sell-out crowds singing from the four English style stands, which were joined together in November 2001.

More alterations to the venue, known by Germans as the Bundesliga’s opera house, were started in
2005.

Trinidad and Tobago meet Sweden in the first of six World Cup matches at the Westfalenstadion, which will also play host to one of the Semi-Finals. But arguably the best night to be there will be when the home nation entertains Poland on 14 June; a night that promises an electric atmosphere.
