The FA's Director of Communications Adrian Bevington today confirmed the details of England's final training session before they departed for Germany.
With the squad now en route to their World Cup base camp in Baden Baden, Bevington explained the situation regarding injuries with five days remaining before England kick-off their World Cup campaign.
Bevington told TheFA.com: "England's World Cup Squad trained in Watford this morning before departing for their team base in Germany this afternoon.
"Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney were working with the physios during the session. Gary is expected to train tomorrow while Wayne will continue with the rehabilitation of his foot with the England medical team.
"John Terry (knee), Ashley Cole (thigh) and David Beckham, who sustained a kick on the right ankle during Saturday's victory over Jamaica, did not train.
"This was purely precautionary with all three players. Sven fully expects all three to be training this week and available for Saturday's opener against Paraguay."
