VIDEO: Gary Neville pre-Portugal
Gary Neville is fit and raring to go after recovering from a calf injury and has targetted a place in the semi-finals.

Gary Neville insists he is ready to play in the biggest game of his career and help England reach the World Cup semi-finals.

The Three Lions right-back has recovered from a calf injury which ruled him out of two group games and the win over Ecuador in the last round.

He has now returned to fitness and says he is ready to face Portugal on Saturday and make up for missing the World Cup quarter finals in 2002, when he was ruled out of England's defeat to Brazil because of injury.

He said: "This could possibly be the biggest game I have played in, provided I am selected, because the World Cup quarter-finals is a huge occasion.

"But I have played in a number of important games before so I would not say there is not any more pressure on me. It is just another big match for many of the players.

"First and foremost we have a wonderful opportunity for us to reach the World Cup semi-finals and those chances do not occur too often in a footballer's career."
