As confident with a pool cue in his hands as he is with a football at his feet, Rio Ferdinand lets us on to his table. |
We bring you extended highlights from Rio Ferdinand's lesson in pool playing, as he reveals the players that he has come up against and the variety of sports that fill his spare time
As Rio sinks another ball, he explains that Michael Owen is the opponent he has suffered the most defeats to - although Rio maintains that Michael is no match for him when it comes to table-tennis.
Despite admitting that he is not quite able to compete with professional players with a table-tennis bat, Rio is confident that he is 'The Man' when it comes to footballers who play the game.
One man who may contest that is Steve Tilson, the Southend manager, although Rio is keen to prove that he is number one, and a match between the players could be on the cards at some point in the future. Be sure to stay with TheFA.com for any potential game between the two.
