The FA can confirm that an extra 800 tickets will go on sale on Wednesday to England fans for the Quarter-Final against Portugal on Saturday 1 July in Gelsenkirchen. This brings The FA's allocation for the match to over 4500.
The additional tickets will first be made available to members of englandfans, the official England supporters club, who do not already have a ticket for the game in Gelsenkirchen but who would have received a ticket for the quarter-final in Berlin had England played there, as it has a much larger capacity. This group of fans numbers around 1400. Should there be any remaining tickets, these will be sold to other members of englandfans.
For the knockout rounds The FA first sold tickets on the basis of 8% of the capacity of the smaller possible stadium, with a subsequent sale based on the extra tickets that would become available were England to play in the larger venue. These sales were done on a voucher system.
A ticket hotline will be operational from noon on Wednesday UK time with collections upon production of photographic ID in Gelsenkirchen.
