Michael Owen and John Terry watch as David Beckham's free-kick is flicked in against Paraguay.
Group B
England have finished top of Group B after two wins and a draw.
The Three Lions began their World Cup campaign with a steady 1-0 win over Paraguay. Sven's men then made it two wins in as many games when they overcame a stubborn Trinidad & Tobago side.
Top place in the group was sealed when England drew with Sweden. Despite leading twice, England had to settle for a 2-2 draw and met Ecuador in the last 16.
In that game, England needed a stunning free-kick from David Beckham to see the Three Lions through to the quarter-finals, where they once again missed out on penalties.
In a tense and nervy encounter, England managed to survive an hour with only ten men to draw 0-0 before they lost 3-1 on the dreaded spot-kicks.
