Belles v Fulham: Match Centre

Tickets for the flagship FA Women's Community Shield are now on sale, a game which sees Doncaster Rovers Belles take on Fulham at Mansfield Town's Field Mill Ground. The match takes place on Wednesday 6th August with a 7.45pm kick off.

The match, hosted in partnership with Nationwide, will be the second Community Shield and third charity match opening the women's football season. It will also be the first charity women's match played outside the capital.

The match will be played in front of live Sky Sports cameras and is expected to be a tight clash between two of the best women's sides in the country.

Fulham won the treble last season, while Doncaster Belles finished a close second in the league, so this game is set to be a real thriller. Both sides boast several internationals in their line-up, with Fulham having two of the biggest stars of the women's game in their midfield - Katie Chapman and Rachel Yankey.

The last time these two sides met in a match of this stature was The 2002 FA Women's Cup Final, where Fulham beat Belles 2-1 in front of 10,000 fans and a TV audience of 2.5 million.
