Lincoln City caused a major upset in The FA Women's Cup as they knocked out Premier League National Division opposition Blackburn Rovers in a thrilling tie that went all the way to extra-time.
Rovers took the lead as Katie Anderton scored with a precise finish on the half-hour mark, slamming the ball past former Rovers goalkeeper Kay Hawke and into the far corner of the net.
But Megan Harris got on the end of a looping cross to head Lincoln level seven minutes after the break, then left winger Smith glanced in a 74th-minute header to put the home side in front.
A Lincoln victory was looming when, two minutes from time, striker Anderton chased a long ball out of defence to fire her second goal.
But the Imps were not to be denied. Smith volleyed home her second in the 98th minute and they held on for a famous victory.
