Arsenal and England captain Faye White is sure that whoever competes in this season's FA Women's Cup Final will be part of a glorious occasion at Nottingham Forest's City Ground.
Although Faye has missed all of Arsenal's games so far this season due to cruciate ligament damage, that has not diminished her enormous enthusiasm for what promises to be a massive year for Women's Football.
Faye said: "It's going to be a fantastic year and this match is going to be a big part of it. The fact that the game will be in Nottingham this year is a great opportunity for the whole country to join in the day.
"It's not only the clubs who make it to the Final who are involved on the day. For clubs at all levels up and down the country it is a day that everyone looks forward to. It's a celebration of all the hard work that everyone does throughout the season."
From a player's point of view Faye regrets every Final she has to watch from the stands, though despite her competitive instincts she recognises just what an occasion it can be for all the fans attending the match.
"To play in the game is something you really cherish, and I think that you realise just how important it is when you're not involved. I remember in 2005 when Charlton played Everton, I had to watch the game and moments like that can hurt.
"But over the years there has been a real increase in the number of people attending this game, and also watching it on BBC, which takes the Women's game to a broader audience.
"In a sense it's everyone's Cup Final and everyone should come and be part of the day to support Women's Football. The fact that there's going to be festivals and events around the game is brilliant and I think everyone is looking forward to it."
