Charlton celebrate winning The FA Women's Cup in 2005.
Women's Cup kick off
Friday, 15 July 2005.
The draws for the Preliminary Round, First Round Qualifying and Second Round Qualifying of the 2005-06 FA Women's Cup have been made.
This year's competition features 224 clubs, up 14 from the 210 that entered last year.
Four clubs will kick-off the competition in the Preliminary Round on Sunday 4 September. There will then be 72 ties in the First Round Qualifying on Sunday 11 September and a further 36 ties in the Second Round Qualifying on Sunday 25 September.
Charlton Athletic are the defending champions, after Eniola Aluko's goal was enough to defeat Everton at Upton Park in May this year.
Charlton don't enter The FA Women's Cup until the Fourth Round stage (see exemptions link below), but open their season against FA Nationwide Women's Premier League Champions Arsenal at MK Dons FC on Thursday 4 August, when they do battle for The FA Women's Community Shield.
The match kicks off at 7.45pm. Tickets are priced at £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions and can be purchased by calling the ticket hotline on 01908 609000 or by visiting the ticket office at the National Hockey Stadium.
