Charlton Athletic boss Keith Boanas is hoping that after successive FA Women's Cup Final defeats to Fulham and Arsenal, it will be third time lucky as his side face Everton Ladies at Upton Park in Monday.

Charlton narrowly missed out on the domestic treble this season and Boanas knows that this their last chance of silverware this season.

He said: "I hope this is third time lucky. We are there now and we need to make sure that it is. The team has worked so hard this season and this is our last game so we need to give it our all.

"We need to make sure that we come out of this season with at least one trophy because we've been involved in all three this season and have just been pipped to the post in the other two making this our last chance."

After Although his side are yet to lose to Everton this season, he is expecting a tough game with both sides crammed with internationals.

And with Charlton laying on free buses for fans for the game it should be played out in front of one of the biggest crowds of the season.

"Everton are a very good team," he added. "It is a team full of internationals and people may not realise that they have five or six senior England players and all the rest have been involved in the national youth side.

"The game is being shown live on the BBC so although the fans can stay at home and enjoy it we are still expecting a bumper crowd.

"We are supplying free coach travel from The Valley as far away as Maidstone and there are three or four of them filled already so the club may have to lay on more.

"It sends a good message to the fans so that if they want to come then we will make it easy for them.

"The men's team are playing Manchester United the day before and I would like them to support the lads on Sunday and then come down and get on the coach on Monday."
