Everton reached the Semi-Finals of The FA Tesco Women's Premier League Cup with a comfortable win over Sunderland, with England midfielder Fara Williams firing two goals in a clinical display.
Michelle Evans scored a fine tap-in, but her strike was overshadowed by two long-distance efforts from Williams that gave the Toffees their deserved place in the last four.
Watford reached the last four with a pulsating victory over Birmingham. The Hornets were again leading by three goals with 15 minutes remaining but the Blues - as Doncaster had the week before - pegged Watford back.
Lander had struck twice, and Cori Daniels had seemingly given Watford victory, but Dani Bird and Laura Bassett made it a nervy finish for the Hertfordshire side.
Arsenal continued their defence of the League Cup, but had to wait until the last 12 minutes to wrap up the victory. Karen Carney had given the Gunners the lead against Chelsea, but a Faye White own goal levelled the scores.
Two late goals from Jayne Ludlow and Lianne Sanderson gave Arsenal victory and a place in the Semis.
Liverpool produced the upset of the round as they followed up their incredible victory over last season's finalists Leed United with a win over Blackburn Rovers to progress to the last four.
Levi Penny had fired Rovers ahead, but Chantelle Parry grabbed a fantastic hat-trick to put Liverpool in the driving seat, and a late consolation from Natalie Preston could not deny the Reds.
