Since the draw for the semi finals, Liverpool Ladies have been looking forward to their game with current holders Arsenal with great optimism.

Arsenal are the overwhelming favourites and have been unbeaten domestically for around two years, and Liverpool Manager David Bradley told TheFA.com it will a great challenge for Liverpool to measure themselves against the top team in the country.

"These are the games that you play football for and it is sure to be a great occasion on Sunday.

"We could not have had a more difficult draw. I believe the other two semi finalists will be relieved that they did not get the current holders.

"Arsenal will be strong favorites for the game and rightly so as they are currently the best women's team in Europe and had a clean sweep of all domestic trophies last year.

"We will be well aware that we need to give the game of our lives and exploit what weaknesses Arsenal have.

"The cup tie certainly holds a David versus Goliath theme to it with Liverpool Ladies being tagged as heavy under dogs, but all the pressure will be on Arsenal as they are expected to beat us and progress to the final, so no one will be surprised if that happens.

"Through progressing to the semi finals the tie has given the team a boost and our League form has improved as the team are playing with confidence.

"Training and preparations have gone well for the game and it’s just a case of giving a good account of ourselves on Sunday.

Tickets for Sunday's game are priced £3 for Adults and £1.50 for concessions.
