The FA Women's Premier League Cup
Second Round
Sunday 15 October 2006
Arsenal are through to the quarter finals of the Premier League Cup after they defeated Birmingham City 3-0 in their delayed Second Round tie.
The Gunners, fresh from their superb 5-0 UEFA Women's Cup victory in Breidablik during the week, took the lead in the 21st minute with a goal from Gemma Davison and two strikes after the break from Julie Fleeting killed off the Blues' hopes.
Arsenal will be at home once again in the last eight, against West Ham Utd from the Southern Division, while last season's Charlton winners face a trip to Lincoln on their quest to retain their crown.
