Two early goals from Precious Hamilton set Doncaster Rovers Belles up for a comfortable 4-0 victory over Bristol Academy in The FA Tesco Women's Premier League.
Hamilton's first goal came after just 75 seconds. A surging run from Rachel Williams took her past three Bristol players and her through ball found Hamilton on the edge of the box.
A clever piece of control presented her with the opening and she rifled the ball into the bottom left-hand corner to give the Belles a very early lead.
Her second came shortly after. Bristol Academy failed to clear a corner and when the ball broke, Hamilton doubled the home side's lead, drilling the ball past Rachel Simkin from 18 yards.
Though there were no goals for the remainder of the half, both sides created a number of other chances, with Bristol looking threatening from high balls into the box.
Canadian striker, Liz Hansen - back for her second spell with Donny - converted an Emily Heckler cross just before the hour mark to extend the lead and substitute, Suzanne Davies completed the victory.
After a 1-0 defeat to Everton in the opening game of the season, Donny manager, John Buckley was delighted to claim all three points.
"The way we moved the ball was fantastic and it was really pleasing [to get the win].
"We've been talking about shifting the ball a lot quicker and that was evidential today. We've got talented players and our game plan really worked.
Buckley was also full of praise for his two-goal hero, Precious Hamilton.
"Precious is a quality player. She can be lethal in front of goal and if she focuses herself on doing as well as she did today, then she'll work her way into the England set-up."
With The FA Women's Premier League now in full swing, the Belles travel to Nottingham on Wednesday to take on Forest Ladies, meanwhile Bristol Academy entertain Birmingham City Ladies.
