Everton completed an impressive double at the weekend as they secured victories on both Saturday and Sunday, beating Watford before defeating Cardiff just 24 hours later.

With second place now assured for Mo Marley's side they built on a strong run of form that stretches to 14 games unbeaten in the league, and two wins in such short succession shows their growing confidence.

Natasha Dowie led the Toffees to victory at Watford with a goal inside the first minute, and while the hosts did level the scores at 1-1 through Ashlee Hincks, Dowie hit her hat-trick and Toni Duggan added a further goal.

Then onto Sunday with Cardiff the opponents, and while Everton's team was largely unchanged the result went the way of the Blues once again.

Goals from Dowie, Michelle Hinnigan, Rachel Unitt, Jill Scott, Toni Duggan and Michelle Evans put the seal on an emphatic win for the home side.
