Watford hit three second-half goals for a 3-1 win at Southampton Saints with Helen Lander continuing her rich vein of form with a brace.

Cardiff City are level on points and with a goal in hand after they defeated Crystal Palace 2-1. Gwennan Harries gave Cardiff the lead and after Kettinde Ogunneye levelled, Chinne Osuji conceded a last minute own goal.

Portsmouth dropped points as they were held 2-2 at home by AFC Wimbledon at a windswept Fareham Town.

The Dons took the lead in the 8th minute. Lizzie Laws found Beth Sims inside the area, and her cross wasn't cleared, allowing debutant Natalie Brown to volley firmly into the bottom corner.

They doubled their advantage in the 17th minute, Laura Smith stealing in at the far post to score with a header.

Portsmouth reduced the deficit in the 33rd minute, as Wilson's cross was turned in by Nash at close range, and earned a point with an equaliser 19 minutes from time. 

Millwall are fourth, having defeated Reading Royals 2-0. Player-manager Pru Buckley opened the scoring ten minutes in, Dionne Lennon adding a second on 35 minutes.

Fifth-placed Bristol City sent bottom of the table Brighton to a 2-0 defeat. Kirsty Richardson was first on target with a looping effort after 21 minutes, Nicole Robinson wrapping it up 17 minutes from time.

In the Northern Division, Wolves Women paid the price for going four weeks without a game when they went down 5-2 away at Lincoln City. In a proverbial game of 2 halves, Lincoln took the initiative in the first half with Stacey Aisthorpe scoring her first goal in the 21st minute, and two further goals coming in close succession on 28 minutes and 34 minutes.

Wolves started the second half in a more determined fashion and forced a corner on 51 minutes. Beth Bailey took the corner kick and the 'keeper was only able to palm the ball into her own net, making it 3-1.


Wolves pressed on in an attempt to reduce the deficit further, but then found themselves wanting at the back, letting Lincoln in for two more goals in the 79th and 81st minutes.

Wolves managed a consolation goal in the 84th minute when a Becky Hall free-kick was headed in by Nicole Allison, but pushed out by the keeper, only to be finished off by Captain Kerrie Manley.

In their last home game of the season Stockport came up against mid-table Aston Villa. County, despite hitting the bar and post in the first half fell to a 2-0 defeat

A long floated free-kick aluded everyone on 61 minutes to put Villa ahead, with
 Carly Davies taking advantage of a Angela Ashioti slip to seal the three points.
